Family Farm Truck

1949 Ford F1

The Ford truck came to us as a family project. It was a running and driving truck, but the automatic transmission wouldn't shift into third gear and the steering was very sketchy. It also needed minor cosmetic upgrades. We wanted to fix the steering and suspension, and address the transmission, but once we got it opened up the firewall was a total disaster. That led to a bit of "while we're in there" and we ended up redoing the interior, adding seatbelts, stereo, and heating and A/C. All said and done, it's now a really reliable truck that's fun and comfortable to drive anywhere.
